Custom Polycore Shutters
Polycore Shutters, by Sunland Shutters, have the traditional look of wood, with the advantages of synthetic materials. All the stiles, rails, and louvers are made with aluminum reinforcement. This means the aluminum core is actually co-extruded into the solid polymer at the same time the component is made, which makes the reinforced components as straight as an arrow, and allows the shutters to be assembled with screws for superior durability. The shutters have inherently high R-Value, they are moisture resistant, and are flame retardant. All Polycore Sunland shutters are Greenguard Indoor Air Quality Children and School Certified.

Aluminum Reinforced Components
shutters are 100% recyclable and can be reformed to produce other PVC products. We fabricate materials that use minimal fossil fuel, consuming less than half the fossil fuel needed to make other synthetic and thus having a smaller effect on the environment. Our Polycore shutters have received the GREENGUARD Certification Program and the coveted GREENGUARD Gold Certification. This means that our shutters have passed an extensive series of tests to ensure that they meet stringent third-party standards for low chemical emissions based on established healthstandards.
